Credit repair specialist. Do you really need one?
A credit repair specialist can be of great help if you find yourself "stuck in your tracks". And when I say that I mean that no matter how hard you push, your not going anywhere.
A credit monitoring service is a must!
If your not monitoring your credit reports, then how can you possibly tell if your making any headway?
You can check in on your credit rating and reports and monitor them for any unusual activity. Credit monitoring is not very expensive and if I had this I could have caught some fraudulent activity in time to put a stop to some goings on and I could have had some proof of criminal activity to give to the police.
The three major credit monitoring angecies are Transunion, Experian and Equifax. Your creditors are going to look at these whenever you apply for credit anywhere.
Your credit rating is a measure your creditors use to measure risk assesment when offering you a loan or financing of all kinds. For more on this subject, "how credit scoring works" is a must read that makes all of this come together! I'll put a link to
how credit scoring works here.

A credit repair specialist can be a person or an agency that either assists you in cleaning up your credit or doing it for you with the latter being the most expensive!
Other type of agencies are in the business of credit report repair. The difference is one will help you with your credit itself, which can mean getting loans for those things you want and need and the other cleans up your reports and helps you remove negative items and errors that are Misleading, Innacurate, Unverifiable and just plain old Incorrect!
Lexington Law Firm is such a credit report repair agency. I have used them myself and found them to be trustworthy and they delivered what was promised, but you must assist them with your case! They cannot do it all alone without your input!
And when you think about it, do you really want anyone repairing or cleaning up something so life changing important as your credit reports and credit rating without you knowing exactly what is going on?
