Common credit repair scams! Don't be a victim! You MUST read this!

Common credit repair scams, yes they are out there and just when you think you have been hung out to dry, along come the vultures!

Scams are just waiting out there to take advantage of your desperation!

I came across so many of these it's hard to count them all and I already listed some in other sections of this website and I'll post links to them in this section as well.

Let's identify the type of scam artists that offer common credit repair scams first. These people are often owners of companies or work for companies that are watching the newspapers and court reports to see who is applying for bankruptcy or have their bankruptcy granted already! Having a business license gives the illusion of credibility and most scam artists know this! This does not mean all licensed credit reapir companies are scams, but it does pay to do your homework!

Most people who are in trouble or just walking out of bankruptcy court wonder, now what?

If your bankruptcy has been granted, there is an immense sense of relief, but you know you will have to start over re-building your credit but where to begin?

None of your past creditors are going to help you out, that's for sure! If your bankruptcy was granted or you have no assests to place a claim on, then your in the doghouse as far as they are concerned!

And here they come, the vultures.

If this one doesn't set off alarm bells, I don't know what will! No one has an in with the credit bureaus! Anything that they can do to help you eliminate your bad credit items from your report you can probably do yourself! You will not just be able to pay someone to "wipe out" all your negatives and start over with a new spotless score!

Any items in your report that are accurate cannot be removed easily. Note that I said easily! Some creditors have gotten lazy and do not check up on the facts and if you catch one who doesn't feel like challenging your dispute, this has happened to me, you get lucky and they just give up and pull the negative item off for you! This is something you can do for yourself!

This doesn't happen often and if you get lucky, good for you!
